The N3T Network Traffic Counter – Computer Vision (NTC-CVTM) is a leading edge video analytics solution for City and Traffic Planners. It allows permanent or short term counts of traffic and people. The People Counter (PC) classifies people, bicycles, scooters and other personal micro mobility vehicles (PMV), determines their direction of travel, speed and counts the number of people. The system can be easily customized to your needs.

The NTC-CV can be installed by one person in less than 10 minutes. An intuitive mobile App supports the deployment, including a live view from the camera. Our world class Web App allows you to review the counting results in near real time and provides a rich set of analytics. This provides insights and decision support for your team. Connection to variable message signs or other output devices can be provided.

The NTC-CV uses an infrared (IR) camera and IR LEDs for 24 x 7 people detection. In addition to standard people detection further video analytics can be offered as bespoke development. That includes adding new detection classes, dwell times, monitoring mask wearing, social distancing or combination with our Vehicle Counter. 

Standard use cases include people counting on 

  • multi-use footpaths
  • public spaces and intersections. 

At any point of time you can view the live footage and can analyze video and annotated images for ground truthing (GT). 

Hardware

The NTC-CV consists of a separate camera and processing module. If required a Lithium Ion battery and solar system can be offered. We have several mounting options for rural and urban settings. 

Our software can use any video input stream if the camera alignment & resolution is as specified by us.  

Software

The NTC-CV software detects, tracks and classifies people. For the installation we provide a mobile App to align the camera for best detection results and calibration. Our leading edge Web App provides reports, graphs and further analysis tools to support your team’s decision making based on near real time information.
